The Schulers chose Skogman Homes because “Jennie [Plummer, the Cedar Falls Sales Director] made it so easy!” remembers Lindsey. “She explained the building process, the differences between the selections. She also went through what our budget could include, and what price points we could choose from.”

When asked about the process, Lindsey recalls that, “Building with Skogman wasn’t overwhelming because even though they had a variety of choices, it was easy to choose based on our style. Also, we knew we wanted a ranch with an open floor plan, so it really helped being able to walk through some of their spec homes to help make the final decisions on our specific plan.”

Overall, the home building process went very smoothly. “Skogman handled everything,” says Lindsey. “The closing date we were told on Day 1 never changed. That takes a lot of stress off of the homeowners.”

And what’s their favorite part of their new home at Audubon Heights in Waterloo? According to Lindsey, “Everything! The location, the open floorplan, the kitchen, the view from our kitchen and living room. We absolutely love our homesite and the neighborhood. We can’t imagine living anywhere else!”
