Price increases in effect: Lock in lower prices today!
Posted: September, 11, 2017 | Categories: BlogUltimately, the cost of our homes is the result of a combination of external forces, including materials and labor, and our prices reflect the status of the market. Skogman Homes will be instituting price increases in the coming weeks, and we’d like you to understand why.
Overall, 2017 has been an unusual year for rising costs. According to the Producer Price Index released in April, the first quarter of 2017 saw significant increases in the prices of softwood lumber, gypsum, ready-mix concrete and OSB. Subsequent quarters have continued to show unprecedented volatility and insecurity.
At Skogman Homes, we are committed to building our homes as economically as possible, using efficient building processes and highly skilled experts. Know that we increase our prices only as made necessary by outside factors. We continue to approach each construction opportunity with commitment to exceed the goals and expectations of our clients.
The price increase will take effect in October. We encourage you to come into our communities as soon as possible to lock in lower prices! We look forward to working with you to build the Skogman home of your dreams.
